Gelato Messina has taken everyone’s favourite Easter treat to the next level with the launch of its new sticky hot cross bun snail.

The new festive breakfast (that’s right) is made from spiced hot cross bun dough, laced with chocolate chips and vanilla custard and glazed with a cinnamon malt caramel.  If you’re not a fan of dried fruit, you’ll be pleased to learn there’s not a raisin or sultana in sight.

The sticky spiced pud comes in an Easter bundle along with a one-litre triple chocolate gelato tub, layered with milk chocolate gelato, toasted white chocolate mousse and a slab of Ecuadorian dark chocolate, for $65.

After you’ve exhausted all the chocolate eggs, simply bake the hot cross bun scroll in the oven for 20 minutes, then serve with an obscene amount of the triple choc gelato.
