This week the sorcerers at Gelato Messina have unleashed a salty margarita sorbet with all the freshness of lime, salt, and a whack of tequila. As part of their spring specials series, the Salty Marg is a bandwagon we’re absolutely happy to get behind. 

Especially if it means consuming unholy amounts of sorbet to get that summer buzz.

And while there may only be teeny amounts of alcohol in the finished product – thanks a lot, pasteurisation – that’s not to say that we wouldn’t say no to a little shot of the good stuff on the side or a splash of prosecco poured over.

This salt bae is available in stores now until September 11 unless sold out prior.
