Prepare to be shown up. No matter what you’ve got planned for Valentine’s Day, the Grounds of Alexandria has gone one better. Basically, it’s going to steal your girl and there’s nothing you can do about it.

For those who have only just realised that they should probably organise something stat, The Grounds of Alexandria is offering to take the hard work out of your V-Day planning.  For the big day, The Grounds is putting on a romantic candlelit dinner where you’ll dine on three-courses beneath shimmering lights. If you don’t have a reservation, you can also swing by for a stroll down their swoon-worthy laneway, which will be open from now until February 17.  Along with many photo opportunities, the laneway also has its own kissing booth, just in case you needed some help to pull off your move.

As this is a special occasion, The Grounds has created two over-the-top treats for you to share. The first is a spectacular sponge, filled with violet and blueberry confit and topped with sugar shards and pearls. The second is an iridescent Chambord and raspberry cocktail swirled with edible glitter and topped with a mound of fairy floss.
