Afterwards, you'll feel good as new.
Once a social club for members of the hardware industry, the newly relaunched Hardware Club sees knives and forks replace hammers and nails as the venue’s main tools of the trade.
Owned by pizza pals Nicola Dusi (Baby Pizza, Chin Chin) and Andrea Ceriani (+39 Pizzeria), the new trattoria hits the nail on the head with a selection of old school Italian dishes, which include homemade pizza and pasta, alongside warm and comforting dishes, like ossobuco ravioli Milanese and an Italian fennel sausage wheel with silverbeet and chilli oil. For a quick fix, there’s also fried sardines with pickled onions and whipped cod with tomatoes and olives.

Drinks will focus on Australian and Italian wines, with a tight edit of Italian cocktails, including negronis and spritz. The intimate eatery will channel a neighbourhood trattoria, with elements of a quintessential 80s Italian household adding warmth and familiarity to the space.

The Hardware Club is slated to open October 30, 2019, from Mon-Sun 12pm – 3pm and 5:30pm – late. It is located at 43 Hardware Lane, Melbourne, for more details, head to thehardwareclub.com.
