Pho real: You can now get pho-fried chicken in Sydney

Hello Auntie.

Count us in.

Hello Auntie in Marrickville has heard our calls for comfort food and in response has created its very own Vietnamese-inspired version of fried chicken.

Not your usual crispy chicken, executive chef Cuong Nguyen brines the bird in pho soup for 12 hours, before battering and frying it, then serving it with a pho-infused sauce.

Available for two weeks only, Hello Auntie has doubled down with two meal deals, which include either 1kg of fried chicken and a bottle of Boll & Cie Blanc de Blanc for $100, or one piece of fried chicken and a glass of Champers for $20.

Hello Auntie.

Gà chiên vị phở will be available at Hello Auntie in Marrickville from now until July 13, 2020.
