However, one key ingredient will be missing.
Less than one year after it first opened its doors in Bondi, Italian trattoria CicciaBella is set to expand, with a second outpost slated to open in Parramatta this September.
While the new venue will continue the tradition of house-made pasta and wood-fired meats, noticeably missing will by head chef Mitch Orr, the pasta master from Acme, who has recently parted ways with the restaurant group.

Nic Wong from Apollo and Ester, has stepped to the hot plate and will take over CicciaBella as head chef. Nic has already launched a new winter menu, which includes whole sardines cooked al forno and a 1kg bistecca alla Fiorentina.
The Parramatta menu is said to be inspired by the cucina povera, or peasant food, of southern Italy, and diners can expect simple Italian dishes, with only 3-4 ingredients per plate.
The new CicciaBella will land at Parramatta Square, a new $2.7 billion precinct which will form the suburb’s new city centre.
