Possibly the most famous chef on the planet has today opened his first restaurant in Victoria, and it’s a delivery-only pizzeria.

It’s the second of its kind to open in Australia, with the first landing at Pacific Fair on the Gold Coast at the end of last year.

Dishes will be prepared out of a shared kitchen facility at Deliveroo Editions in Collingwood.

The menu will feature rustic Italian dishes made in Jamie’s trademark style – simple and honest with a healthy kick. Pizzas will be made using a traditional-style Neapolitan dough finished with moreish toppings like spicy pork and fennel meatballs, pepperoni, roasted herb mushrooms and four cheese.  There’s also the Chilli Freak, a super hot pizza that comes loaded with fresh chillis, chilli sauce and jalapeños and to neutralise it, a super green pizza topped with broccoli, spinach and beans.

Jamie Oliver said: “It’s been a challenging few months for everyone and the hospitality industry in particular, so it’s extra special to open our Pizzeria for home delivery to offer our diners delicious meals, made from superb ingredients, in the comfort of their own home. I hope our incredible, authentic hand-stretched pizzas will put a smile on people’s faces.”
