Inspired by the classic pairing of sparkling wine and chips, Kettles has just launched prosecco-flavoured crisps and they’re the ultimate side-kick for your glass of champers.

Seasoned with prosecco spumante and pink peppercorns, the chips are part of Kettle’s Special Edition range. The product description reads: “Nothing says special like a glass of bubbly, so we found a way to sprinkle some fine prosecco on our golden Kettle beauties. Finished with a dusting of pink peppercorns …. And voila! Cheers.”

It’s not the first time prosecco chips have hit the snacking scene. In 2019, Pringles also launched a prosecco flavour, which was later confiscated due to the alleged misuse of the word ‘prosecco’, which is a protected word.

Who knows whether the prosecco police will come after these also – better pop some in the trolley, just in case.
