Fake news, right? We wish. British toiletries brand Lynx has teamed up with Marmite to release a yeasty new body wash and deodorant, which are made for keeping people away.

“Lynx Africa Marmite could be described as the world’s first social distancing deo and is a sure-fire way to keep haters away and lovers close (ish),” the product description reads.

The new fragrance features notes of lavandin, white moss, green herbs, sandalwood and cedarwood, which are met with a strong hit of salty breakfast spread. A step up from body odour? We’re not so sure.

The real shame here is that they didn’t use Vegemite, which everyone knows has a much more enticing scent.
