And it even comes with 12 free doughnuts.
Desperate times call for desperate measures. While no one wants to walk around with an empty doughnut box on their head, this DIY face shield might just get you out of a sticky situation. Or possibly into one, it’s hard to be sure.
For his next trick, UK magician Andy Clockwise has posted a video to his YouTube channel showing how to turn a 12-pack of Krispy Kreme doughnuts into a wearable face shield with just a few quick snips.

While it’s unsure just how effective the Krispy Kreme face shield is, the plastic barrier seems likely to prevent the splash and spray of aerosol droplets. However, there is currently no evidence to support this – someone please send a box of doughnuts to CSIRO for testing, stat.
Another benefit of the shield is it also makes it difficult to touch your face, so there’s a win. Also, it comes with your choice of 12 doughnuts, go glazed or assorted, it’s completely up to you.
The only downside to the shield is that you won’t be able to comfortably eat your doughnuts while wearing it. Also, it looks a little silly, but it’s better than getting a $200 fine.
