Big, BIG news.
Australians love a Big Thing. The Big Marino, the Big Prawn, the list goes on. So for a nation of Big Thing lovers, it’s a big day when Macca’s introduces a bigger Big Mac.
As part of a limited-run range, McDonald’s has brought back the whole Big Mac range, including the Big Mac we all know and love, the Mac Jr, the Grand Big Mac and onion rings with Big Mac sauce. Landing in McDonald’s stores around the country from April 3, it’s the second time the Big Mac fam has featured, making a splash in 2021 for McDonald’s Australia’s 50th birthday.
McDonald’s marketing manager Samantha McLeod hinted at the possibility of even more Mac family members in a statement, “To celebrate the universally loved burger, we’re giving Big Mac loyalists and future Big Mac lovers the gift of choice with our new Mac Family range, offering even more ways to enjoy its iconic taste – with more to come.”
The Big Mac has featured on the McDonald’s menu since 1968 without a break, proving to be one of the most popular dishes for the multi-billion dollar organisation.
The Mac Family and Onion Rings served with Big Mac Special Sauce are available at Macca’s restaurants nationwide as well as via the MyMacca’s app from April 3 for a limited time.
