McDonald’s has given its menu a melty makeover with the addition of three new cheese-themed items, a Cheesy Beef Burger, Cheesy Chicken Burger and Mozzarella Sticks.

The two new burgers are made from either chicken or beef with tomato chilli jam, lettuce and a crumbed cheese patty, stuffed with molten parmesan, cheddar and mozzarella cheese. The mozzarella sticks, which have graced the menu before, are filled with stringy mozzarella cheese and come with a new tomato and chilli dipping sauce.

Jo Feeney, Marketing Director at McDonald’s Australia said: “We know there are a lot of cheese fans out there, and the newest burgers on our menu are a cheesy twist on some of our customers’ Macca’s favourites.”

The Cheesy range is available after 10:30am from Wednesday, June 17 at McDonald’s restaurants nationwide for a limited time only.
