“Introducing Cakes to Combat Corona,” Alice posted on her Instagram page @misstrixiedrinkstea. “What they are going to do is bring some joy, some happiness, some sugary goodness to someone who has had to bump their wedding to 2021. Someone who is in self-isolation for 14 days with too much tea and dry Cruskits than anyone cares for. These cakes mightn’t be deemed essential, but it is essential that we ride this wave with positivity.”

The collection includes five cakes, available in seven ($90) or nine inches ($110). Flavours include vanilla buttercake, lemon vanilla buttercake, chocolate, coconut and red velvet.
