It may have only been four weeks since Messina dropped its choc chip cookie pie, but in that short time, the gooey baked treat has grown to become a legend in its own time.

If you missed out on the baked bickie the first time around, you’re in luck. Messina has announced they’re bringing back their OG choc chip cookie pie for four days only this Thursday, May 14 – Sunday, May 17.

The cookie pie is available to pre-order online for $20 each, with the option to bundle it up with gelato for a discounted price. The pies are also available to order on Deliveroo if you need the comforting warmth of a cookie and just cannot wait.

Each cookie pie serves between 2-6 people, so best not to tell anyone about it if you don’t want to share. To prepare your cookie pie, simply bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes until golden brown on top and soft and gooey in the centre. Serve with your choice of Messina gelato – might we suggest dulce de leche or cookies and cream? – and finish with the accompanying choc hazelnut crumble.
