Gelato Messina has teamed up with Peters ice cream to bring you a new range of chocolate-coated gelato bars.

That’s right, you no longer need to trek across town for a scoop of dulce de leche, now all you need to do is stroll cooly over to the freezer and help yourself to a bar or two.

The three flavours are:

Choc Hazelnut Gelato Bar – made from cocoa gelato, layered with chocolate biscuit and Messina-made hazelnut sauce and coated in hazelnut chocolate.

Espresso Dulce De Leche Gelato Bar – made from espresso gelato, biscuit and gooey Messina-made Dulce de Leche centre, coated in milk chocolate.

 Strawberry Cheesecake Gelato Bar – made from lemon-infused gelato, biscuit and strawberry sauce, coated in pink chocolate.

And if you fancy making a little ice cream shop in your fridge, you can still get the Messina drumstick range, too.

The best part? A four-pack of gelato bars is priced at just $10, which feels extremely fair considering a single scoop will set you back $5.30 in-store.
