Craving a warm, comforting dessert but don’t quite have the time or energy to bake one yourself? Forget the Sara Lee, Gelato Messina has just released a ready-to-bake fairy bread cookie pie inspired by their famed gelato special.

The ready-to-bake bickie is stuffed with milk and dark chocolate chunks, vanilla custard and topped with millions of hundreds and thousands (do the maths on that).

To prepare your cookie pie, simply bake it in the oven for 25-30 minutes until golden brown on top and soft and gooey in the centre. Each cookie kit comes with either 500ml, 1L or 1.5L gelato packs to serve alongside.

Fairy Bread Cookie Pie Kits are priced at $38 (+500ml), $44 (+1L) or $48 (+1.5L) and are available from all Gelato Messina stores nationwide (except The Star, Sydney).
