Reservations open next week.
The French fine diner that topped the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list in 2019 has announced its first-ever residency in Sydney.
Three Michelin-starred Mirazur will take over The Gantry at Dawes Point for three weeks from March 10 – 31, with the experience priced at $685 per person, not including drinks.
The Gantry’s waterfront location pays tribute to Mirazur’s home base in Menton on the French Riviera, where its dining room overlooks the Ligurian Sea.
Celebrated Chef/Owner Mauro Colagreco, Executive Chef Luca Mattioli and their team will make the journey Down Under for the unprecedented pop-up.
Mirazur serves a hyperlocal menu, with many of the ingredients grown in the restaurant’s lush onsite gardens. As such, they won’t be able to reproduce their Menton menu here. Instead, they’ll design a completely new and unique food and beverage program inspired by the best in Australian produce.
The residency is part of Mirazur Beyond Borders, a project which promotes inspiration by learning from new cultures and cooking in new environments, using different ingredients and producers.

“Mirazur Beyond Borders is the opportunity for us to enrich our knowledge, philosophy and commitment. I have visited Australia a few times and what excites me is that it is a country where there is a huge diversity of nature, landscapes, and species,” Chef/Owner Mauro Colagreco said.
“It’s very important for me and my team to learn from and experiment with the ingredients we find in the country we visit, and to learn from all the people and products we encounter on the way. Although we are coming to Australia for a few weeks, I already know we will leave with something that lasts forever.”
“I am thrilled to cook in Sydney, as it’s such a diverse Australian city, where many cultures and foods coexist. What I love about Australian gastronomy, and particularly Sydney’s, is that it has been influenced by many different cultures, from Asian to European, and a large range of produce to create its own gastronomy, and reinvents itself constantly.”
Mirazur will run from March 10 – 31, 2023, with bookings available for lunch and dinner from Wed-Sun. Reservations for the restaurant will open on February 13 at 12pm AEST. Register your interest at chefworldtour.com/mirazursydney.
