And it’s not all tuna rolls either.
Get out your stretchy pants, Melbourne’s famous all-you-can-eat Japanese restaurant Okami has opened its first outpost in Marrickville, Sydney.
Okami is famous for its all-you-can-eat feast – and its not all edamame and tuna rolls either. The limitless line-up includes 30 different dishes, from top orders like sushi and sashimi to agedashi tofu, prawn gyoza, takoyaki, karaage, yakiniku beef, seafood tempura, and more.
And you don’t just lift them lukewarm from a conveyor belt either. All the dishes are made fresh to order. Plates are also designed to share, which means you can try even more, possibly the whole 30 if you’re truly committed to the cause.

If Marrickville is not your home suburb, don’t worry you might be getting your own Okami soon. The popular chain plans to launch another 10-15 venues over the next 12 months. New outposts are currently in the works for Silverwater, Cronulla, Pennant Hills and Wagga Wagga in NSW, Epping, Niddrie, Whittlesea, Traralgon, Bendigo and Melton in Vic, and Mawson in ACT.
