The Chippendale fine diner is celebrating its 3rd birthday and everyone's invited.
Sicily is renowned for its citrus, seafood and olive oil, among many other fine contributions to the culinary world. And its the olive oil produced at chef Lino Sauro’s Sicilian family farm that plays a central role at Olio Kensington Street. Sauro’s inspired seafood-heavy menu also features ingredients such as wild fennel, raisins, saffron and couscous, giving his Sicilian food a deliciously contemporary twist.
Happily for visitors, the inaugural American Express delicious. Month Out in March coincides with Olio Kensington Street’s third birthday, and they’re all set to celebrate.
In honour of the momentous occasion, Olio is putting on a six-course degustation made up of all its greatest hits. Diners can expect dishes like crispy Freemantle octopus with saffron pepper sauce, handmade pasta with sardines and wild fennel and Silician chargrilled veal rolls, capped off with brioche and coffee granita. You can also opt for matching Sicilian wines.
