Need an excuse to eat pizza and drink wine on a weeknight? We’ve found one. Next month, Breville will team up with some of the country’s best chefs to put on a pizza party, with all funds raised donated to bushfire-affected communities.

Held at the Three Blue Ducks in Rosebery, the fundraising event will see 20 top chefs team up with 20 media personalities to create their own unique pizza toppings. All you need to do is come along and scoff it.

Some of the chefs rolling up their sleeves include Brent Savage (Bentley Restaurant + Bar), Shannon Martinez (Smith & Daughters), Colin Fassnidge (My Kitchen Rules), Mark LaBrooy (Three Blue Ducks), Nic Wong (Icebergs Group), Matt Stone (Oakridge Wines), Trisha Greentree (10 William St), Roy Ner (ZA ZA TA), Jordan Toft (Coogee Pavilion), Analiese Gregory, and more.

Delicious. Editor-in-Chief Kerrie McCallum and Food Director Phoebe Wood will also be taking part.

No need for Pepsi, Fratelli Paradiso and 10 William St will be taking over the bar for the night, with various drinks available.

All funds raised will be donated to the bushfire crisis, which is in addition to Breville’s recent donation of $200,000. Ingredients and produce used will also be sourced from bushfire-affected regions to further support these communities.

At the event, Breville will also take the opportunity to launch its latest product, the Smart Oven™ Pizzaiolo (RRP$1,250), which marks the first domestic countertop oven to hit a high of 400°C and cook an authentic wood-fired style pizza in two minutes flat. Consumers will be given the opportunity to pre-purchase their own Pizzaiolo oven on the night before they hit shelves on April 1, 2020.

#Raisingdough with Breville Australia will be held at Three Blue Ducks in Rosebery on Monday, March 23. Tickets are priced at $50 a head and include pizza and drinks from 6pm-9pm. For more details or to purchase tickets, head to Eventbrite.
