The caffeination station will dole out espressos in the morning and coffee cocktails at night.
Beloved purveyors of coffee, ST. ALi have moved up and into the new Munro building at Queen Victoria Markets where the team will be serving up a swag of cocktails and market-focused snacks.
The European-style venue is open now and serving the people of Melbourne a cocktail menu designed by World Bartender of the Year 2022 winner Orlando Marzo, who will be serving bottled cocktails as well as a menu of specialty cocktails. Naturally, there are plenty of coffee liqueur-based bevies like the aptly named Coffee Cocktail with hits of vanilla and orange, made with ST. ALi’s range.

Snacks begin in the morning with produce available from the Queen Victoria Markets like duck eggs on pan con tomato to a pretzel bagel cured ocean trout, dill, and crème fraiche.
Lunch is focused on grab-and-go sandwiches, fresh pastries, and of course a very bougie grocery store where you can grab your pantry staples on your break. Evening snacks are cocktail bar focused – cured mackerel, tomato caper herb salad, or roasted bone marrow on toast with anchovy, pickled shallots and ‘nduja.

The ST. ALi & The Queen interior is designed by Fiona Lynch, who has kept the venue chic, modern and warm. High-top tables are well suited to the morning coffee dash, as well as aperitivo dining. The design and materials reflect ST. ALi’s commitment to sustainability, with exposed concrete floors, natural lighting, and a glass house made from repurposed materials, following through with little to no wastage and being as circular as possible.
ST. ALi is open daily from 7am at 141 Queen Street, Melbourne. For more details, head to: stali.com.au/pages/st-ali-and-the-queen
