Eau no: Victoria Bitter's beer-inspired fragrance is back in longneck form

Long Neck

Just in time for Father's Day.

You know that smell you get from hanging around the pub too long? Well, you can now smell like that all the time, on purpose, with Victoria Bitter’s fragrance, “Thirst. A scent by VB”.

Launched last year, Thirst is a bold cologne, made from perfume oil combined with the essence of Australian Super Pride hops, the same hops used to brew Victoria Bitter.

Channelling that crispness of a freshly-opened longy, the fragrance opens with a refreshing combination of bitter citrus, which gives way to floral spice and sweet hoppy accents, with “subtle imaginings” of freshly cut barley.

And this year,  they’ve upgraded the bottle from stubby to longneck size. The packaging takes its inspiration from the VB longneck, featuring amber glass with gold etching. Basically, it looks good enough to drink.

Thirst. A Scent by VB ambassador, Harley Breen said: “Thirst is a scent that every man can get around. It will make you wanna sniff your mate after a full day on the tools.”

Launched just in time for Father’s Day, the longneck version of Thirst. A scent by VB 150ml is available to purchase Chemist Warehouse stores nationwide or online for $39.99.
