Christmas has been saved.

If you’ve been put on dessert duty this year and you’re looking for an easy way out, Woolworths has just launched a handcrafted white chocolate croquembouche that you could totally pass off as your own.

The festive tower is made from buttercream profiteroles covered with white chocolate and sprinkled pistachios and raspberry-flavoured crisps. The 850g dessert is priced at $30 and serves 12 people.

The new item is one of 16 new Christmas food items launched by Woolworths today, which include a boneless turducken, pigs in blankets, pork crackling shards, and a honey and fig glazed brie.

Woolworths Director of Buying Paul Harker said: “Christmas is all about the spirit of sharing and this new line is a simple way for customers to pull together a Festive spread that can easily be shared with family and friends.

“From savoury meat centrepieces to a jaw dropping tower of white choc profiteroles, we’ve done the time consuming prep for customers so they can spend less time in the kitchen and more time sharing delicious food with loved ones.”

“We’re encouraging customers to be quick as we know these Christmas-infused products will be flying off the shelves across the busiest days of shopping in our stores for the year.”

Customers can find the new products in Woolworths stores across Australia from December 18.
