We’ll admit, it sounds a bit like a fake ad or rip-off product, but we assure you, it’s all true. To celebrate eBay’s 21st birthday, the renowned resellers have enlisted the likes of Gelato Messina to create a special birthday cake based on their famed Dr Evil’s Magic Mushroom gelato cake.

What’s more,  they’re not just going to eat it in their eBay staffroom either, they’re sharing it with everyone. From today, you can buy your own version of the cake from eBay for just $21 (including delivery) which is a tiny fraction of the usual price. Better still, all money raised is being donated to Beyond Blue.

For this special occasion, Gelato Messina has created a new celebratory flavour. In the cap, you’ll find vanilla gelato packed with birthday cake, chocolate coated honeycomb and raspberry jam. In the stem, there’s homemade dulce de leche and vanilla gelato, which sits on a popping candy feuilletine grass base. Each cake serves 8-10 people.
