If you thought Light & Tangy were an acquired taste, just wait until you try chicken nugget potato crisps.

The limited-edition flavour has been flying off shelves since it first launched, with an announcement post on Facebook attracting some 22,000 comments in 24 hours, with people quick to call them “heaven in a bag” and an “absolute game-changer”.

It’s unsure as yet whether the chips taste any different to regular old chicken.

But that’s not all. The new nug chips have a friend – apple pie chips, which are apparently “loaded with the taste of sweet apple filling, spices and pastry in every bite”.

So basically, you can now sit down to a two-course meal, straight out of the bag.

The Chicken Nugget Flavoured Chips and Ultimate Apple Pie Chips are available at select supermarkets at a price of $3 per 200g bag, while stocks last.
