It’s been called the answer to Sydney’s Ivy precinct.

Topping off the $600 million FV development in Fortitude Valley, comes a lush new open-air terrace, where sprawling tropical greenery and cabana booths have created the city’s prettiest place to perch.

The most coveted seats are set to be Altitude’s four private cabana-style booths, which offer soaring vistas across the streetscape to Story Bridge and beyond. Bottle service means partygoers will be able to kick back from their sun lounges with a bottle of Grey Goose vodka or Four Pillars Gin, complete with your very own drink-pouring host.

If you’re not quite that cashed-up, head over to the dedicated bar when they stock a generous selection of beers, wine and cocktails. Tipples to try include the salted caramel espresso martini garnished with popcorn and a bushfire negroni made from North Queensland’s Mt Uncle Bushfire Smoked Gin.

Stone baked pizzas will be available.

The destination venue will also offer a modified version of the Foresters Bar & Restaurant’s menu downstairs. Curated by executive chef Peter Popow, the edited list will include stone-baked pizzas, wallaby carpaccio, as well as cheese and meat boards.

No need to check the forecast, a retractable roof will mean that martinis go on whatever the weather.
