Chase the sun (and prawn cocktails) to the GC’s Isoletto Pool Club.
With its peach-hued décor, sophisticated fit-out and a menu as alluring as its pool with a view, Isoletto Pool Club offers up a year-round summertime salve on the Gold Coast.
Sitting on level six of The Star Gold Coast, Isoletto Pool Club (and its sibling event space Isoletto Privé) presents an ideal perch for the hotel’s guests to enjoy a spot of sunset beach-watching with a signature cocktail in hand. And suddenly, we’re hovering over the ‘book now’ button.

Take in an iconic vista accompanied by a Green Cove cocktail that sees white run, orange bitters and mint tango together in the glass. Or imbibe a Giulietta, a sweet-and-sour blend that seamlessly mingles gin, Aperol and a Pavan grape and orange blossom liqueur. Of course, Champagne, fine wines and craft beers line the bar for those who prefer a sessionable pour.
And yet, this pool club bestows more than a place to dip and work your way through a tropical-inspired cocktail menu.

Here, a selection of freshly rolled sushi, locally sourced oysters, prawn cocktails, crispy fried snapper burgers and artisanal gelato gives an eager nod to the neighbourhood’s quintessentially relaxed, seaside way of life.
For lighter bites, nourish bowls and acai bowls befit the locality, while sun-seeking groups can indulge in poolside packages that combine seasonal fruit platters, Champagne and cocktails (and all-important complimentary sun cream top-ups).
The club’s chic, contemporary design is the work of award-winning Brisbane architects and go-to hospitality interior design experts Plus Architecture, who’ve teamed a neutral, sand-toned palette with vibrant, tropical fruit colours to create the sunny space.

The pool club will be exclusive to The Star’s hotel guests (including those staying at The Star Grand, The Darling, Dorsett Gold Coast and The Star Residences).
Jessica Mellor, The Star Gold Coast’s COO says, “Whether they are looking for a new sun-kissed space to relax and recharge, or to create an unforgettable event, I’m excited for our guests to experience all The Star Gold Coast has to offer from a brand-new vantage point.”
Isoletto Pool Club & Isoletto Privé is now open on the Leisure Deck, The Star Gold Coast, Broadbeach. For more details, head to star.com.au.
