Need a new stomping ground? You’re in luck. A colossal new cocktail bar has landed on the ground floor of the Woolly Mammoth Alehouse in Fortitude Valley.
The new mega venue is made up of three sprawling bars, a tequila-fuelled garden terrace and main stage with a state-of-the-art live music set-up where party animals can cut loose.
Designed by BSPN Architects, the new fit-out takes its inspiration from the Californian city of Palm Springs, with a pastel colour scheme, terrazzo floors and bright Tropicana furnishings.

The new revamped and fully amped stage area is set to host an exciting program of gigs, from live bands to DJs and rockaoke sessions (like karaoke, but with a live backing band).
The Mexican inspired menu, created by executive chef Graeme McKinnon (Covent Garden) with Jack Thompson (The Line & Label), has plenty for both carnivores and herbivores, with options like lamb barbacoa with queso blanco, chicharrones (pork crackle) with chipotle ketchup and fried cauliflower tacos.

For those who love a cocktail but hate the queues, Ivory Tusk pour out eight premium cocktails on tap alongside craft beers and the house specialty – gazpacho tequila shooters.
