Positioned on the ground floor of a 44-level office block, this lobby bar by the Grounds of Alexandria, will give you the pick-me-up you need to get through the working week.

Take a break from the bright lights of the office cubicle in Lobby Boy’s sprawling surrounds, which combines plush seating with calming green and dusty pink accents to soothe you through that ten o’clock meeting or tedious business call.

Those with a window in their schedule can settle in for a beetroot and citrus cured ocean trout on toasted wholemeal crumpet, or if you’re already late, try the four cheese croissant or toasted macadamia muesli to go (and maybe one for the big man upstairs too).  Of course, they’ll be coffee by The Grounds alongside freshly pressed juices, smoothies and organic teas.

Things start to get a bit more serious as the day goes on, with lunchtime offerings like wild mushroom risotto and coconut and lemongrass steamed mussels with wines and craft beers, which we’re pretty sure you’re okay to charge to the company account.

If you can’t make it over to The Grounds on the weekend, you’ll find Lobby Boy at your service on Saturdays, too.
