Welcome to Thornbury’s is Melbourne’s first solely food truck dedicated venture. It’s a food and drink hub that’s proven so popular it has spawned a second edition – Welcome to Bowen Hills – set to shortly land in Brisbane.

Perhaps its popularity in part is due to its ability to embrace a theme. Like, for example, the flamingo festival headed its way on February 23. Lasting for two days, the celebrations will be naturally pink in theme. From pink drinks to tropical fare and decor.

And impressive number of food trucks will be involved for the special rose-hued event. Interchanging with each day is a line-up that includes Mr Burger, GLACE, Super Taco, Levain Doughnuts, Senor Churro and Let’s Waffle ‘n’ Shake.

And one final piece of advice, tropical dress is encouraged!
