Sitting smack bang in the award-winning Eq. Tower in Melbourne CBD is the city’s latest food pocket, HWKR. An innovative take on traditional Asian hawker markets, the food precinct is a smorgasbord of cheap eats that will rotate in reoccurring three month-only residencies. There’s a host of national and internationally renowned restaurants taking part, from Hong Kong’s Bread & Beast, to Masterchef alum Diana Chan’s Chanteen, and Melbourne’s Khao by Rice Paper Scissors.
