And it’s to be hosted in the inner-city.

Moore Park may be best known for its sport, but that’s all set to change thanks to a new night food market taking over the space. The Entertainment Quarter in Moore Park will on November 18 play host to new foodie gathering The EatSummer Twilight Food Market

The event will see a gaggle of 20 new Sydney chefs showcase their talents in the one space, which will also play home to four fully themed bars and a ‘dessert alley’ for six artisan dessert makers. Confirmed restaurants taking part at the event include Anason, 1821, Lotus, Tequila Mockingbird, Lucio Pizzeria, Spice I Am, Marta, Indu, Barzaari, Nola Smokehouse, Sake Jr, Fratelli Fresh, Ume Burger, Hooked on Poke, Mr Bao and Banh’s Xeo Bar.

Chefs including the likes of Anason’s Somer Sivrioglu, Ume’s Kerby Craig, Lotus’s Chris Yan, Spice I Am’s Sujet Saenkham, Barzaari’s Darryl Martin, 1821’s David Tsirekas and Lucio Pizzeria’s Lucio De Falco will be taking part. More vendors are also expected to be announced closer to the launch date. Specialist craft gin outfit Archie Rose will also captain a themed cocktail bar to complement the food options.

EatSummer has been organised by Feeder Events, a food-event spin-off led by Cambridge Markets. “We are incredibly excited to launch this premium food event in a dazzling location in a part of Sydney that is accessible to so many,” says company director Rebecca. “We have carefully curated the restaurants, bars, food stalls and dessert options to create an eclectic mix of high-end restaurant talent with the city’s best street food and coolest bars. Sydneysiders will find nothing quite like this market has ever held in Sydney before.”

Tickets are $10 (plus booking fees) for adults for pre-event day passes and are available for purchase online.
