Three Williams cafe in Redfern is making the most of the short truffle season with a special menu that includes seven dishes to salivate over. Brunch doesn’t get much more decadent than this brioche French toast topped with creamy truffle Anglaise, truffle ice cream, gold feuilletine and freshly shaved truffle.
To celebrate the launch of the Canberra Region Truffle Festival, head chef Thom Gorringe from The Gantry has curated a special truffle degustation which showcases the finest fungi from Canberra and the Southern Highlands region. The 8-course menu includes baked camembert stuffed with truffles, truffle linguine and chocolate truffles, paired with truffle-friendly wines. After the dinner, held June 19, the dishes will move over to the regular menu.

Yum cha at Little Valley is set to be even more yum than usual, with the Fortitude Valley restaurant adding truffles to their already luxe dumpling menu. Limited edition offerings include a truffle and prawn har gow and truffle and mashed potato spring rolls.
Messina is set to run a special 8-course truffle gelato degustation which will revolve around Perigord black truffles from the Southern Tablelands. Expect both sweet and savoury sorbets, from a brioche and foie gras gelato with black truffle to a pistachio and black truffle gelato with white chocolate fudge.
