The Valentine’s Day plans have changed. The new plan involves you picking up Black Star Pastry’s strawberry watermelon heart cake and not eating it until Friday.

More than just a delicious dessert, the fragranced cake even comes with its very own love story to make you sound super sweet and thoughtful. That story being that Christopher Thé originally created the cake for a wedding, and the main flavours (being strawberry, watermelon, rose, and pistachio) were inspired by the idea of romance. Cue collective ahhing.

The strawberry watermelon heart cake is priced at $36 and is available to buy in-store this Thursday, February 13 – Saturday, February 15. It can also be pre-ordered online here. Go!
