Fancy a roadtrip? Boat House Hotel Patonga has opened

The Boat House Hotel Patonga

Fancy a Central Coast getaway?

Fishing favourite Patonga on the Hawkesbury River may well be one of the hidden gems of the Central Coast. But it looks like it won’t remain that way for long, with The Boathouse Group recently revealing its long awaited eighth venue.

The Boathouse Hotel Patonga is the first Central Coast venture for the blossoming hospitality group, with outposts from Balmoral to Shelly Beach. At their latest venue, you’ll again be able to drink and dine all day to your heart’s content on the outdoor deck, and excitingly also be able to stay the night should you indulge in one too many drinks at your Sunday session.

The Boathouse Hotel Patonga will unveil its new accommodation options in the New Year. Guest rooms will range from one, two, and three bedroom options, all equipped with balcony and waterfront views. Rooms will be dressed in The Boathouse’s trademark coastal interiors; think plenty of white and rattan, with tropical touches.

But until the hotel makes an appearance we’ll have to make do with The Boathouse’s casual dining offering, which is hardly a terrible consolation prize. The eatery continues to specialise in all-day eating options, with a particular focus on fresh, contemporary fare. There’s everything from green bowls to french toast, and (thankfully) a handful of pub grub favourites, including fish and chips, and burgers. A lengthy array of alcoholic drops accompany, as well as a range of mocktails, kombucha, smoothies, and coffee for the teetotalers.

For those not eager to make the drive, there are plenty of other ways to reach the latest addition to The Boathouse family. Buses, ferry and water taxis are available to the wharf neighbouring the Hotel’s front steps, or there’s the opportunity to enjoy the shuttle bus.
