This Sydney cafe is donating 100% of its profits for the entire year to the bushfire victims

Bread & Circus.

Roll up, roll up to the most generous offer we've seen so far.

From fundraising events to hefty donations, Australia’s hospitality industry has rallied together to raise desperately-needed funds for our bushfire victims.

The latest pledge to have us cheering at our desks comes from Alexandria cafe and wholefoods canteen, Bread & Circus, which today announced that it would be making a very generous donation via their Instagram account.

Without any accompanying fanfare, the local business posted a plain pink image followed by the text: “All profits from bread & circus in 2020 will be donated to help with the bushfires.”

After user @jakeantoun questioned whether it was just for the month of January, or for the entire year, they clarified “Yep. All year”.

The post has since been liked by over 400 people, with many leaving messages of support and admiration.

Owned by Danny Goldstein and Amanda Bechara, the community-centric cafe is known for its fresh, wholesome menu, which includes staples like parmesan scrambled eggs, and ricotta and caramelised banana pancakes, with a substantial organic, vegetarian and vegan offering.

So there you have it. Another café to visit this weekend and every weekend for the rest of the year (and beyond).
