For one night only.
Yellow’s Brent Savage is headed to Melbourne, but luckily for Sydney it’s not for long. The chef behind award-winning restaurant Yellow will be taking his creative vegetarian cuisine down south on Monday January 14 when he takes St Kilda’s Supernormal Canteen hostage.
The Fitzroy Street restaurant is the casual offering from Melbourne restaurateur Andrew McConnell. It’s gained quite the reputation for its Asian-inspired fare but isn’t well-known for its vegetarian-favouring dishes. That was, until now.

Savage will be hosting a one-night dinner consisting of a six-course menu that will naturally embrace an entirely vegetarian theme. The Pan-Asian flavours favoured by Supernormal will also be featured, interwoven in the sophisticated menu, with dishes to include a torched avocado with pistachio, sea grapes and yuzu kosho and sheep’s milk yoghurt sorbet with blueberry and licorice.

Tickets to the event are currently on sale for $75 per person, and can be reserved by calling Supernormal Canteen on (03) 9525 4488 or via this link.
