Famous for its cured meats and pastas – with an all essential glass of vino – Potts Point favourite Chester White is offering its legendary meals for takeaway.

While the menu is short and sweet, there’s plenty of savoury bites to start with, all paired with carefully curated wines. Think Italian classics such as prosciutto, capacollo, culatello, speck, and truffle and wild boar salami.
Then there are the mains – a mixture of carne and pasta. House-made duck pate is served alongside pickled vegetables and lavosh, while Argentinian empanadas with chimichurri and sriracha mayo will whisk your palate to sultry South American nights. Sample smoked barbecue pork with spring onion and capsicum, 16-hour slow-roasted brisket served with burrata salad and tart radicchio, or a six-hour braised beef cheek. Vegies also get their moment in the spotlight, with comforting roasted pumpkin made heartier with chickpeas, Tuscan cabbage and almonds. Chester White also gives good pasta, too – feast on truffle cacio e pepe, hand-rolled ricotta gnocchi, and creamy, luscious carbonara.
The drinks offering is just as impressive, with organic prosecco (it’s 5pm somewhere), Argentinian Malbec, Langhe Nebbiolo, Sancerre and Spanish Albarino sitting alongside Mornington Peninsula pale ale and lager to match every moreish dish on the menu.
