Clipp, the bar tab app that makes lining up for a bevvy that much easier, has a new function aimed at rewarding you for being a VGD (Very Good Drinker).

While Clipp wants to replace every card in your wallet (and namely, your credit card and ID), Dash is all about rewarding you for that – and it’s pretty cool.

It works in real time, so you’ve got to be near your local and already using Clipp to get the benefits. If you’re within a venue’s targeted area, you could get a notification for half-price cocktails between 5-7pm, say, or 50 per cent off your whole bill for the first five customers. Basically, it’s The Amazing Race if The Amazing Race was a drinking game.
