The secret dinner party is coming this November.
Get ready to don your white linens and tableware as Brisbane’s largest dinner party, Diner en Blanc, is set to return on November 4.
The party, which is set at a secret location, attracted more than three thousand punters last year, who descended on the city’s Botanic Gardens. The event has garnered popularity in Australia in recent years due to its strict invite-only policy. Guests must first register their interest in the event, which places them on a ticket waiting list. Tickets are released in phases, with the first round (phase 1) going to guests who attended the event the year prior and the second round (phase 2) going to those who have been invited by ticket holders from phase 1. Those who have registered their interest will only be offered tickets once the first two phases have been completed.
The event is also known for its mandatory participation once tickets have been purchased despite weather conditions and its all-white dress code. Adding to the mystery, the secret location is only revealed once guests have all met at a designated meeting point. As part of the event, guests are also required to bring their own table, chairs and white tablecloth as well as their own picnic basket of ‘fine food’. And as per previous years, only wine and Champagne is allowed with all guests required to take their belongings with them as they leave.
Diner en Blanc is held across Australia at various secret locations and globally, for more see here. Ticket sales are not yet available. However, you can register your interest, here.
