Beer, pizza, bread and cakes – coeliacs can eat it all.
Whether you have coeliacs disease or you’re just a little wary of wheat, the Gluten Free Expo offers an impressive breadth of gluten-free products, that go well beyond what’s currently stocked on supermarket shelves.
The event will be a safe space from spelt, with a number of tasty options for the gluten intolerant, including snacks that are usually off-limits, like craft beer, pizza, bread, pasta, brownies, biscuits and doughnuts.
The event will include over 70 exhibitors, as well as cooking demonstrations and expert speakers. There will also be options for vegetarians, vegans and the lactose-free, too.
The Gluten Free Expo lands at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre on Saturday, October 5 – Sunday, October 6, from 9 am – 4 pm. Tickets are priced at $10 – $15. For more details or to book, head to glutenfreeexpo.com.au.
If you can’t make it along, there’s always Teresa Cutter’s gluten-free lamington cupcakes recipe to cheer you up.
