Craving a holiday? Gourmet Escape is set to return to Western Australia this November, along with a seriously impressive line-up of events that includes some of the biggest names in food.
This year’s festival, held November 17-21, will visit some of the state’s most celebrated culinary locations from Perth to the Margaret River, Swan Valley, and for the first time, Rottnest Island.
If you haven’t explored Rotto before, you won’t want to miss Rottnest Sunset, an alfresco feast on the beach prepared by Rick Stein and Colin Fassnidge. Back on the mainland, you can also schedule in a brunch with Australia’s two leading ladies of food, Stephanie Alexander and Maggie Beer, hosted by Alice Zaslavsky.
In celebration of Italian heritage in Western Australia, Silvia Colloca will team up with Guy Grossi for a big fat Italian spread at Sandalford Estate in the Swan Valley, with Italian varietals to match, selected by Master of Wine Ned Goodwin.

The Gourmet Beach BBQ returns to the white sands of Castle Rock Beach for a sunset soirée like no other, with incredible local fare prepared by Curtis Stone, Guillaume Brahimi, Matt Stone, Shannon Martinez, and more.
Work off all that food at a dine and disco party held at the new rooftop at the Art Gallery of Western Australia.
