There are ham bags, and then there are Victor Churchill ham bags. Each year the famed Woollahra butchery releases a limited edition ham bag designed by some of Australia’s favourite artists, singers and designers – all in the name of charity (because this is the season of giving after all).

At an intimate launch dinner, Victor Churchill supporter and friend Del Kathryn Barton was announced as this year’s chosen artist, releasing her highly praised 2014 work or fall again (pictured above) for reproduction.

All proceeds from this year’s ham bag will go to Aussie Desert Dogs, a program for animals in the Yuendumu region of the Northern Territory which aims at improving the conditions of animals in the community.

Previous ham bag designers have included Jimmy Barnes (2016), Barbara Weir (2015) and Dinosaur Designs (2014).
