Bon appétit!
Start your day á la Française at Loulou Bistro, which has just launched a new brunch service on weekends.
The new morning menu includes fresh pastries from the boulangerie next door, including pain au chocolat, flaky croissants and French baguettes spread with fresh fruit preserve and house churned butter.

Since we are in Sydney after all, there will also be les oeufs (eggs) served scrambled or whipped into a fluffy crab omelette with gruyere cheese, chives, lemon zest and espelette pepper (oui, s’il vous plaît!).
Breakfasts don’t get any more French than Loulou’s croque madame, which is made on buttery brioche stuffed with comté cheese and leg ham, finished with a poached egg on top. For a lighter start to the day, they’re also slinging a breakfast bowl with granola, organic yoghurt and vanilla poached rhubarb.

Beyond the cafe au lait made from ST. ALi beans, say santé to the weekend with a Bloody Marie, inspired by Marie Antoinette, best enjoyed out on the sun-drenched terrace.
