Your Friday night plans have arrived.
Tired of eating the same old meals in lockdown? Add to your repertoire with this live cooking class by veteran chef and restaurateur, Neil Perry.
Neil Perry is teaming up with premium meal delivery service Providoor to bring you a pan-Asian masterclass from his home kitchen. And the best part? You can cook along too. Simply pre-order the Neil Perry ingredients box from Providoor for a chance to sharpen your kitchen skills and learn a few new dishes in lockdown.
The Providoor box includes all the ingredients you’ll need to create four Asian-inspired dishes, including Perry’s chicken salad with black vinegar and chilli dressing, tingling prawn salad, steamed barramundi fillet with ginger and shallot and red braised pork hock with shiitake mushrooms. Don’t worry, there’s dessert. Perry is also throwing in his homemade chocolate mousse as a present from him and the team.

You can also add on a native negroni, cold drip old fashioned or wine pairing such as the 2020 Mac Forbes Pinot Noir or 2015 Vinden Semillon – it is a Friday night, after all.
No fancy equipment required, all you need to supply is a chopping board, knife, mortar and pestle or blender, bowls and plates for serving, and a couple of pots and pans.
The cooking class will take place on Instagram Live this Friday, August 13 at 7pm from the @providoor and @deliciousaus Instagram accounts. If you can’t make the live class, the recording will be available on IGTV to watch at your leisure.
To take part in the class, orders will need to be received by Monday, August 9, with kits delivered on Thursday 12 August, in preparation for Friday’s session. For more details or to order your ingredients box, head to providoor.com.au.
