You’ll want to plan a party pronto
Food can make or break an important function or event, so it was music to our ears to hear that renowned chef Alessandro Pavoni and the Ormeggio team are now offering catering packages. Pavoni, the Italian Executive Chef and Managing Director of four venues within the Ormeggio Group, has done the odd bit of outside catering for friends, family and regular guests, but has now formalised it into an affordable offering of exceptional quality.
“Through our restaurants our team and I have gotten to know so many Sydney locals, and been honoured to participate in many special events over the years as people come to our places to celebrate or socialise with friends and family,” Pavoni says. “Now we hope to come to you!”
Pavoni has created catering packages for a huge range of occasions – big or small, black tie or barefoot beachy gatherings, corporate or intimate dinner parties – they can even cater the drinks for events.
While Pavoni’s favourite thing to cook for a group is ‘Spiedo Bresciano’ (slow-cooked spit roast of pork neck, duck, quail and pancetta basted with butter and sage), we have our eyes on the premium seafood station (think freshly shucked Sydney rock oysters, white balsamic and shallots, Tasmanian black mussels with capsicum and tomato salsa and tuna crudo with avocado, chilli, lime and black sesame).
Just looking at the quality and range of the menus, we’re already planning our next gathering. Who’s in?
