Then conquer the Asian-inspired high tea buffet.

To coincide with the new winter exhibition Terracotta Warriors: Guardians of Immortality at the National Gallery of Victoria, Sofi’s Lounge has launched an Asian-inspired high tea where guests can paint their own chocolate warriors.

You’ll be able to give the small soldiers a snazzy new outfit using a range of edible chocolate paints created by Dulux. With the exact colours of the Terracotta Warriors unknown, you’ll have complete artistic freedom to create your own stylish military wear.

There will also be a high tea buffet to conquer, with a special Asian-inspired menu created by Sofitel’s pastry chef David Hann. The selection will include finger sandwiches stuffed with Hoisin roasted chicken and Cantonese char siu ham, alongside tiers of pork buns, yuzu tarts and fried chocolate wontons.

The Sofitel x Dulux Terracotta Warrior High Tea is priced at $99 per person, which includes access to the buffet, chocolate warriors and a glass of sparkling wine. The event will run at Sofi’s Lounge in the Sofitel Melbourne every Saturday and Sunday from May 25 – October 13 from 2.30pm.
