Cadbury's new Dairy Milk printer is coming to Melbourne.

3D printers are impressive pieces of equipment.  They can make customised prosthetic limbs, specialised aeronautical components and reproduce delicate cultural artefacts. They can also make little chocolate hearts and stars.

If you ever wanted to see a 3D printer in action, this World Chocolate Day, Cadbury will unveil their very first Dairy Milk printer. The new piece of chocolate-making machinery will allow Cadbury to break the mould and ditch the stock-standard choccie shapes for a cool range of squiggly, custom designs.

Not only will you get the chance to marvel at the device, which will travel over from the UK to make its debut here, but you’ll have the opportunity to print your own box of chocolates using it.

The chocolate printer can be used to print digitally-created chocolate ‘charms’, which include a selection of letters, shapes and symbols.

The Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate printer will be on display at MYER Chadstone, with customers able to press print from July 7 – 28. Charms will be priced at $8 for a set of two or $15 for four.
