Sip sip hooray! A dedicated Rosé Room has opened in Surry Hills

Rosé Room supplied

Loire Valley, here we come.

The Clock Hotel in Surry Hills has just opened a pop-up Rosé Room where you can drink rosé all day. Or, at least until 8pm.

Running across four days this October, rosé fans will be able to sip their favourite pink drink in a chic salon setting, decked out in fresh florals and fairy lights.

The wine list will, of course, revolve around rosés, showcasing four French sippers handpicked from the Loire Valley.

Clock Hotel chef Luke McEnallay has prepared a special menu to pair with the vins.  If you love the red currant and strawberry flavours of the Rosé d’Anjou, make sure you try it with the blue cheese platter with toasted sourdough. Or, perhaps the “Réserve des Vignerons” is more your style? You’ll want to order the saucisson platter with that. Round off the experience with the sparkling Crémant de Loire Brut Rosé “De Chanceny” matched to chocolate and orange salted caramel petit fours.

The Rosé Room pop-up launches on Thursday, October 27 and runs to Sunday, October 30 at the Clock Hotel, Surry Hills.
