Chophouse Parramatta is the latest addition to Solotel Group.

Solotel Group is seemingly unstoppable. Having already taken a firm grip of Sydney (as well as Brisbane), the hospitality heavyweights are expanding their borders with a new venture for western Sydney.

Introducing Chophouse Parramatta, the contemporary steak restaurant that already lives in Sydney CBD and is now set to welcome a second outpost to Centenary Square. This new 186-seat restaurant marks the first expansion for the Sydney eatery, a decade on from the opening of the original. And fans should expect nothing less from its western cousin, thanks to its head chef (and western Sydney native) Scott Kim.

“At Chophouse we’re more than a contemporary Aussie steak restaurant. For a start, we’re fanatical about perfectly cooked steak and working with quality cuts of meat to bring a new kind of experience to meat lovers. When you eat with us, you feast,” explains GM of Chophouse Olivia Casson.

The menu will again feature a quality selection of Australian beef sourced from around the country, from producer’s including Jack’s Creek, Rangers Valley and Riverine Premium. This is a destination for the carnivore, with nine different cuts of beef alone for the customer to choose from.

Stand-outs include the signature Tomahawk, which feeds three to four people, and a feast dubbed the Butcher’s Block, containing a selection of steaks, twice-cooked chips, two sauces and two sides.

But what’s a steak without a good drop to accompany it? An extensive wine list will be available, shaped around (you guessed it) various cuts of meat. But it’s not just steak and vino here, expect cocktails, plates and starters as well, for those guests eager to drop in for just a snack and a drink after work at the separate bar.

“We’re excited to bring the Chophouse experience to Parramatta, where there’s an exciting food and dining scene that is growing and becoming very dynamic,” says Elliot Solomon of Solotel Group.

“We are also excited to open another venue in Parramatta, an area that has been close to the family for decades.”

Chophouse Parramatta will open its doors in Centenary Square on October 26.
